
Winnipeg-born Desiree Scott is a former professional soccer player, Olympic gold medalist, and one of the most accomplished players in Canadian soccer history. Over a 15-year international career, Scott earned 188 caps for Canada, competed at four Olympic Games, 3 World Cups, and helped lead the national team to three Olympic medals.
Scott’s career is a story of perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and constantly adapting to what comes next. Now, as Co-Founder and Vice President, Community & Player Experience for Winnipeg’s new Northern Super League franchise, she is helping build the future of professional women’s soccer in her hometown.
